- Loop Hero and Chuchel are this week's free games on the Epic Games Store
- Download and claim them for free right now
- Loop Hero is an addictive roguelike, and Chuchel offers a unique adventure
It might come as a surprise to some that the Epic Games Store on mobile mirrors its PC counterpart by offering free games for a limited period. Even better, on mobile, these free titles refresh every week, and you get two instead of just one.
For the final week of April, two fantastic games are available completely free: Loop Hero and Chuchel. Regular readers might instantly recognize Loop Hero, as it's a favorite here at Pocket Gamer and received a stellar review from Jack. It's a compelling roguelike experience and, if you only try one game from this pair, make it Loop Hero.
But what exactly is Chuchel? This surreal, animated adventure follows the main character, Chuchel, as he tries to get back his stolen cherry. Along the way, he and his rival Kekel find themselves in a series of bizarre and hilarious situations that you must either solve or simply watch unfold.
Free-for-allOur App Army found Chuchel a bit puzzling but still an enjoyable experience when they reviewed it at launch. And even if it's not your typical genre, it's hard to argue with the unbeatable price of free. As for Loop Hero, we highly recommend it for its challenging gameplay and beautiful pixel-art visuals.
The mobile version of the Epic Games Store brings many of the same benefits as the PC platform, including these weekly free releases and access to titles like Fortnite that aren't available elsewhere on mobile.
