Netflix has unveiled the electrifying trailer for Electric State, the upcoming sci-fi adventure from the Russo brothers, Anthony and Joe Russo (Avengers: Endgame). The trailer introduces Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) as a determined young woman and Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) as a captivating drifter.
Set in a post-apocalyptic American landscape, ravaged by a technological collapse, Electric State follows the protagonist's perilous quest across the frontier to find her missing brother. She's accompanied by a charming, whimsical yellow robot, a beacon of hope in a desolate world. Their journey leads them to a mysterious wanderer, whose secrets may unlock the mysteries surrounding their fractured reality. Inspired by Simon Stålenhag's stunning graphic novels, the film promises a captivating blend of heart and intrigue.
Joining Brown and Pratt in this cinematic adventure are an all-star cast including Woody Harrelson (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Anthony Mackie (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Ke Huy Quan (Everything Everywhere All at Once), Billy Bob Thornton (Goliath), and Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul). With a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely (Avengers: Infinity War), Electric State is set to enthrall audiences when it premieres on Netflix March 14, 2025.
