Developer Dream Dock has unveiled Dreadmoor, an exciting new first-person, single-player action-adventure game inspired by the acclaimed 2023 title Dredge. In Dreadmoor, players will embark on a thrilling journey where they'll fish from their trawler, explore mysterious lands, engage in combat with monstrous creatures, craft essential items, upgrade their vessel, and unravel the enigmatic secrets that lie within the post-apocalyptic Drownlands. This highly anticipated game is currently under development for PC. Be sure to check out the captivating announcement trailer above and the initial screenshots showcased in the gallery below.
Dream Dock describes Dreadmoor as an immersive experience where players take command of a fishing trawler and navigate a world transformed by a global nuclear war. The continents have submerged beneath the waves, giving rise to a landscape dotted with scattered islands and the submerged ruins of ancient civilizations. Players will sell their catches to survivors, undertake quests, and inch closer to survival with each successful endeavor. It's crucial to monitor the ship's cargo hold, as the creatures within might devour one another. By upgrading the ship and crafting equipment, players can delve into the hidden depths and uncover secret locations. The game is fraught with mutated creatures and sinister mysteries lurking in the depths and abandoned structures, particularly at night. Radiation poses an ever-present threat, making the world outside even more perilous.
