Pricing and Availability

There are no special editions for Donkey Kong Bananza; your only decision is whether to opt for a physical or digital copy.

MSRP Details

While some Nintendo Switch 2 titles like Mario Kart World and upgraded original Switch games such as Super Mario Party Jamboree are priced at $79.99, Donkey Kong Bananza maintains a suggested retail price of $69.99. This is a $10 increase from the standard price of most original Switch games, but it remains below the new $79.99 price point, which is a relief for many fans.

What Is Donkey Kong Bananza?

Play

Marking the first new 3D Donkey Kong game since the 1999 N64 classic Donkey Kong 64, Donkey Kong Bananza introduces a fresh gameplay mechanic: a digging ability that lets Donkey Kong smash through the ground or cliff sides. The trailer hints at numerous underground secrets and treasures waiting to be discovered.

While much of the gameplay appears to be set underground, players will also explore a variety of surface environments, from forests and canyons to lagoons and frozen tundras. Staying true to the series, the game includes side-scrolling and mine cart sections, promising a thrilling experience. For a deeper dive, check out our Donkey Kong Bananza hands-on preview.
