The Developers of Streets of Rage 4 Have Announced Their New Game

Dotemu, in collaboration with Guard Crush Games and Supamonks, proudly presents Absolum, a thrilling fantasy beat 'em up infused with roguelite elements. The game unfolds in the ravaged world of Talamh, a land scarred by a devastating magical cataclysm. Fear of magic grips the populace, a fear cruelly exploited by the tyrannical King-Sun Azra and his oppressive Crimson Order to enslave mages. A band of courageous heroes—the necromancer Galandra, the rebellious gnome Karl, the mage Brom, and the enigmatic Sidr—dare to defy him.

Prepare for intense, action-packed combat featuring upgradeable abilities, devastating combos, and potent magical spells. Absolum offers both exhilarating single-player and cooperative gameplay, allowing players to team up, coordinate attacks, and unleash devastating synchronized strikes.

The game's breathtaking soundtrack is a collaborative masterpiece by legendary composers Gareth Coker (renowned for his work on Ori and Halo Infinite), Yuka Kitamura (Dark Souls and Elden Ring), and Mick Gordon (DOOM Eternal and Atomic Heart).

Absolum is slated for release in 2025 on PS4/5, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).
