Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is getting a prequel manga featuring the beloved siblings Rebecca and Pilar. It’s now available for preorder at Amazon for $14.99 / £13.99, with a release date of February 24, 2026.

According to the listing, the story follows Rebecca and her brother as they pursue their dream of becoming legendary edgerunners, just like their father.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners - Madness Vol. 1 unfolds in Night City, delivering intense chaos and bloodshed as the siblings fight to survive in a world drowned in greed and corruption—until a mysterious figure throws their plans into disarray.

The manga is written by Cyberpunk: Edgerunners screenwriter Bartosz Sztybor, with artwork by Asano, renowned for the BNA: Brand New Animal adaptation.

Edgerunners, set in CD Projekt’s Cyberpunk 2077 universe, became a massive hit for Netflix and Studio Trigger, so much so that a sequel, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, is now in development with Trigger once again at the helm.

The show’s influence continues to resonate. Nick Dragotta, character designer and artist behind the Absolute Batman comic series, recently expressed his desire to see Studio Trigger adapt the comics into an anime—further proof of how profoundly Edgerunners has bridged Western and Japanese storytelling traditions.
