Indeed, Chrono Trigger was a collaborative effort from three industry legends: Yuji Horii of Dragon Quest fame, Akira Toriyama known for Dragon Ball, and Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of Final Fantasy.
Square Enix has promised a series of celebratory projects for the next year to honor this significant milestone and to thank fans for their continued support. They've teased that these initiatives will "go beyond the world of the game."
