Get ready for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta! Activision's official podcast revealed the beta testing schedule, split into two phases.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Beta Testing Dates

Beta Access:

  • Early Access (August 30th - September 4th): Available to those who pre-ordered Black Ops 6 or have active subscriptions to select Game Pass plans.
  • Open Beta (September 6th - 9th): Free for everyone!

Mark your calendars! The full game launches October 25th, 2024, on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Beta Testing Phases

New Game Features:

The podcast unveiled exciting details, including insights from Treyarch's Associate Director of Design, Matt Scronce:

  • Multiplayer Maps: 16 maps at launch – 12 standard 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps playable in 6v6 or 2v2 modes.
  • Zombies Mode Return: Two new maps are joining the popular Zombies mode.
  • Omnimovement: A new gameplay mechanic.
  • Traditional Scorestreaks: A return to the classic scorestreak system, resetting upon player death.
  • Dedicated Melee Weapon Slot: Carry a melee weapon without sacrificing a secondary weapon.

A comprehensive Black Ops 6 multiplayer showcase is planned for the Call of Duty Next event on August 28th.
