Bond Audition Tapes Allegedly Leak Online

Leaked 2005 James Bond audition tapes surface online, showcasing Henry Cavill's impressive performance. A YouTube channel, Ron South, belonging to a filmmaker, has shared footage of Cavill, alongside Sam Worthington, Rupert Friend, and Anthony Starr, vying for the iconic 007 role.

Games Radar reports on the discovery, highlighting Cavill's audition as the most discussed. Many, including Casino Royale director Martin Campbell, praised Cavill's "tremendous" performance, suggesting he was Campbell's preferred choice. Ultimately, however, other executives favored Daniel Craig.

Cavill later fulfilled his spy aspirations in the film Argylle, starring alongside a notable cast including Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, and Catherine O’Hara. Despite the impressive ensemble, Argylle received mixed reviews, scoring a mere 4/10 on IGN.

Cavill's career continues to flourish, encompassing iconic roles such as Superman for DC, Geralt of Rivia in Netflix's The Witcher, and numerous other projects.
