April 2025 PlayStation Plus Games Unveiled

Sony has announced an exciting lineup of PlayStation Plus Essential titles for April 2025, featuring RoboCop: Rogue City for PS5, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre for PS4 and PS5, and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory for PS4. These games were revealed in a recent PlayStation.Blog post. Subscribers to the PlayStation Plus Essential tier can access these titles at no extra cost from April 1 until the next update on May 5.

The April 2025 selection caters to a wide range of gaming preferences. RoboCop: Rogue City, developed by Teyon and Nacon, offers a first-person shooter experience where players embody the iconic character Alex Murphy in a mission to cleanse Detroit of crime. This game received a significant update last January, introducing a New Game Plus mode, and was rated 7/10 in our initial review.

For those seeking multiplayer thrills, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre by Sumo Digital and Gun Media provides an asymmetrical multiplayer experience. Players can either try to survive or take on the role of the Slaughter Family, engaging in intense battles. This title, which simulates the terror of facing Leatherface, earned a 6/10 in our review at launch.

To balance the adrenaline rush, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory from Bandai Namco offers a more relaxed pace. This turn-based RPG expands the universe of digital monsters, allowing players to explore over 320 Digimon and experience the original Cyber Sleuth story from a fresh perspective.

As the April titles roll out, don't forget to grab the March 2025 PlayStation Plus games before they're gone on March 31. The lineup included Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, making it a strong month for subscribers.
