Applin and Dynamax Entei Debut in Pokémon Go This Month

Two exciting events are coming to Pokémon Go this month, each introducing a unique Pokémon from the Galar region. From April 24th to 29th, the Sweet Discoveries event will feature the debut of the adorable Dragon/Grass-type, Applin. If you're drawn to power, don't miss the Max Battle Weekend on April 26th-27th, where the formidable Dynamax Entei will make its first appearance.

During Sweet Discoveries, you'll have the chance to catch Applin and evolve it into either Flapple or Appletun. To evolve Applin, you'll need 200 Applin Candy and 20 apples. Use Tart Apples to evolve into Flapple, and Sweet Apples for Appletun. These apples can be found in the wild, particularly around Mossy Lures, and may even trigger Applin encounters.

Keep an eye out for wild spawns like Bounsweet, Skwovet, and Delibird during the event. Field Research and Eggs will offer additional opportunities to encounter themed Pokémon such as Munchlax and Cherubi. You can also obtain Sweet and Tart Apples through Timed Research, which includes both free and paid options. The paid version provides extra Mossy Lure Modules and more chances to encounter Applin.

Don’t miss out on the Applin Headband and Apron available in the shop, and be sure to participate in PokéStop Showcases featuring themed Pokémon. For those more interested in raw power, the Max Battle Weekend from April 26th-27th introduces Dynamax Entei. There's even a chance you might encounter a Shiny Entei during this event.
