At Dell, the only other RTX 5080-equipped prebuilt system available is priced over $4,000. Attempting to purchase a standalone RTX 5080 GPU for a custom build could cost as much as this entire Alienware system.

The Intel Core Ultra 7 265F, part of the Meteor Lake series, features a max turbo frequency of 5.3GHz, 20 cores, and a 30MB cache. The RTX 5080 is one of three newly released Blackwell graphics cards, which have quickly become scarce. New for 2025: The Alienware Area-51 Chassis

Dell unveiled the new Alienware Area-51 gaming PC at CES 2025. The chassis retains a similar aesthetic to the 2024 R16 model but includes minor redesigns for improved cooling and updated components. The I/O panel has been relocated to the top of the case, and the tempered glass window now covers the entire side panel. Air intakes are positioned at the bottom and front of the case, promoting a positive airflow design that helps reduce internal dust accumulation. The system has been updated with a new motherboard, faster RAM, and a more powerful power supply to support the latest CPUs and RTX 50 series GPUs.

RTX 5080 and 5090 GPUs Are Sold Out Everywhere

The initial release of Nvidia's GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs, including the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, sold out within the first hour of preorders. The RTX 5070 Ti followed in February, facing similar rapid sell-outs. Prebuilt gaming PCs with these GPUs are also quickly becoming unavailable, either sold out, increasing in price, or facing extended delivery delays.
