Alien: Rogue Incursion Upgraded for PS5, PC; No Xbox Version Yet

Fans of the iconic Alien franchise are in for a thrilling update with the upcoming release of Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One: Evolved Edition. This single-player action-horror game, set in the chilling universe of Alien, is evolving beyond its original VR-only format. The Evolved Edition is set to launch on PC and PlayStation 5 on September 30, 2025, bringing the terrifying experience to a wider audience without the need for a VR headset. Players can start wishlisting this new non-VR version today on Steam and PlayStation.

The game initially debuted in VR across PlayStation VR2 and PCVR via Steam in December 2024, followed by a release on Meta Quest 3 in February. Now, with the Evolved Edition, players can expect "even deadlier Xenomorphs and enhanced visuals," making the experience more intense and immersive than ever.

Developed and published by Survios, the Evolved Edition of Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One is priced at $29.99 for the standard edition, with a Digital Deluxe edition available for $39.99. Set between the events of Alien and Aliens, the game takes players on a gripping mission to the planet Purdan (LV-354) in search of a former squadmate. After a sudden attack, protagonist Zula and her Synthetic companion, Davis 01, find themselves navigating the hauntingly desolate Castor’s Cradle research facility operated by Gemini Exoplanet Solutions. The game promises a blend of intense action, encounters with Xenomorphs, and a deep mystery to unravel.

IGN's review of the VR version awarded it a 7/10, stating, "Alien: Rogue Incursion is a compelling first crack at bringing Alien to VR with lots of room to grow."
