You'll typically find the Haunted Mirror hanging on a wall, such as in 6 Tanglewood Drive, or lying on the floor at its designated spot. Cursed Objects always spawn in the same location on a map, though the specific object that appears is randomized.

To use the Haunted Mirror, simply pick it up and press the appropriate button (either on your mouse or controller) to hold it up. The reflection will show you the ghost's current favorite room. Keep in mind, if you're playing on Professional difficulty or higher, the ghost may move to a different area after some time.

Be cautious, though—staring into the Haunted Mirror for too long will drain your sanity. If you hold it up until it shatters, a Cursed Hunt will be triggered at your current location. Therefore, use it when your sanity is high and quickly understand what you're seeing in the reflection.
