Transporting players to the medieval era, The Dark Ages offers a distinct gameplay experience from DOOM: Eternal. Forget the constant jumping and parkour; this iteration emphasizes a more grounded, brutal approach. Players will embody a powerful, tank-like "killing machine," utilizing a heavy arsenal to decimate demons.
Central to this demon-slaying arsenal are a shield and mace. A significant addition is the inclusion of a giant mech, providing players with a powerful advantage against smaller demons. Furthermore, players will have the opportunity to ride a dragon during the campaign.
The game boasts a customizable difficulty system, allowing players to fine-tune the challenge by adjusting enemy damage and other parameters.
