The Jump Portal (Portal-gun) Mod brings many elements from the popular first-person puzzle-platformer Portal games into Minecraft. Gameplay features include PortalGuns for placing portals, a GravityGun for manipulating blocks and mobs, and a variety of other clever tools.

The PortalGun Wood & Stone is used to create portals. You can place two portals and walk through them to teleport from one point to another. It can be used up to 100 times.

PortalGuns can also be used to lift blocks from the ground and reposition them elsewhere. There are four different types:

Portal Gun (3651) (bullet speed: 40 blocks/second, 1000 uses) – 4 iron ingots + 1 diamond

Portal Gun Gold (3652) (bullet speed: 30 blocks/second, 500 uses) – 4 iron ingots + 1 diamond

Portal Gun Iron (3653) (bullet speed: 20 blocks/second, 250 uses) – 8 iron ingots

Portal Gun Lava (3654) (bullet speed: 20 blocks/second, 200 uses) – 4 iron ingots + 1 flint & steel

The GravityGun allows you to pick up mobs and blocks from the ground and move them to a desired location. You can also choose to launch them away—a bit more ruthless, but entertaining!

Turrets

Turrets can be placed as defensive sentries that protect against all intruders (including yourself). To manage a turret, tap on it with the Turret Options item.

Jumper blocks can be placed on the ground. When you walk onto a jumper, you'll be launched high into the air.

There are two types of gel blocks, each causing a different effect when you walk or jump on them.

Jumping on the Repulsion Gel Block will make you automatically jump four additional times (each one lower than the last) until you finally come to a stop.
