Donkey King: Donkey card game

Donkey King: Donkey Card Game (Online Multiplayer)

The online multiplayer adaptation of your childhood favorite master card game, Donkey. A variant of the cash card game.

*** Objective ***

The objective of the game is to get rid of all cards as quickly as possible.

*** Gameplay ***

The game is simple: players compete to discard all their cards and avoid being the last remaining player with cards in hand, who will be named "the Donkey."

This game uses a standard deck of cards (without jokers), which is dealt out completely among the players. The goal is to get rid of all your cards. The last person holding cards loses and becomes the “Donkey.” The Donkey is considered the loser, while all other players win.

The player with the Ace of Spades starts by playing that card. Play proceeds clockwise, with each player following suit if possible. Players must play one card of the led suit if they have it, but may choose any value from that suit.

If all players have played one card of the same suit, play stops and the complete round is removed (placed in a discard pile). The player who played the highest card of the suit now leads and can start the next round with any card from their hand.

If a player cannot follow the led suit on their turn, they may play any other card. Play stops immediately, and the player who played the highest card of the led suit must pick up all cards in play (all cards of that suit plus the out-of-suit card) and add them to their hand. This player now leads and can start the next round with any card.

Play continues until only one player has cards left. They are declared the Donkey and lose the game, while all other players win.
