The Carplounge Autopilot revolutionizes the way you control your BaitBoat, replacing traditional remote controls with the convenience of an Android tablet or smartphone. This innovative system is designed to enhance your fishing experience by offering both manual and autopilot modes, accessible through a free app available on the Google Play Store. Compatible with any Android device equipped with Bluetooth, the app connects seamlessly to your boat via a transmitter box, allowing complete control through an intuitive touchscreen interface.

In manual mode, you can steer your BaitBoat just as you would with a conventional remote, but with the added benefit of real-time tracking. The app displays the boat's position, route, and orientation on a map, utilizing advanced compass functionality for precise navigation. Moreover, you can use the built-in GPS to mark and name promising fishing spots, such as "jetty left," "spot 1," or "home," making it easier to return to these locations later.

Switch to autopilot mode, and you unlock the ability to create custom routes with specific actions at each point. For instance, you can program your boat to navigate to "Sandbank," open the right hopper upon arrival, then proceed to "Spot 2" to open the left hopper, and finally return to your fishing spot with a blink signal. With the capacity to store an almost limitless number of spots and routes, your fishing expeditions become more efficient and targeted. The system boasts exceptional accuracy, achieving 90% precision within 30cm, thanks to state-of-the-art measurement technology including position and acceleration sensors, and the latest in GPS and compass technology.

A particularly ingenious feature addresses the challenge of line tensioning when deploying multiple rods to different locations. The boat's built-in electronics detect line tension and adjust the steering accordingly, ensuring the boat stays on course without unnecessary detours that could cause line kinks.

While the Carplounge Autopilot primarily replaces the need for a traditional remote, we also offer the option to connect a remote control to the autopilot system. This flexibility allows you to choose between controlling the boat via your tablet or a remote. The app is currently optimized for 10-inch Android tablets, but it works with any Bluetooth-enabled Android device.
