Starting with a modest number 2 on the ball, each successful merge propels the value upward through the sequence: 2-4-8-16-32-64-128-256-512-1024, culminating at the coveted 2048.

While the game is simple enough for children to enjoy, reaching the goal of 2048 is a challenging feat that requires skill and strategy.
