Advanced LT for KIA

Enhance your vehicle diagnostics with the Advanced LT plugin for Torque Pro, designed specifically for KIA vehicles. The Advanced LT plugin enhances the PID/Sensor list within Torque Pro, allowing you to explore a range of KIA-specific parameters. You can test the plugin's functionality with a limited set of sensors before committing to a purchase. Please note that this version does not include calculated sensors such as Injector Duty Cycle (%) or HIVEC mode.

The plugin also features an ECU Scanner, which is invaluable for identifying sensors on KIA engines not currently supported by the plugin. To utilize this feature, you'll need to record at least 1000 samples and forward the logs to the developer for analysis.

To ensure optimal performance, Advanced LT requires the latest version of Torque Pro. It is not a standalone application and will not function without Torque Pro installed on your device.

Plugin Installation

Follow these steps to install the Advanced LT plugin:

1. After downloading the plugin from Google Play, confirm its presence in your Android device's installed applications list.
2. Launch Torque Pro and tap on the "Advanced LT" icon.
3. Select the appropriate engine type and return to the Torque Pro main screen.
4. Navigate to Torque Pro "Settings".
5. Verify that the plugin is listed under "Settings" > "Plugins" > "Installed Plugins".
6. Scroll down to "Manage extra PIDs/Sensors".
7. Typically, this screen will be empty unless you've previously added pre-defined or custom PIDs.
8. From the menu, select "Add predefined set".
9. Choose the correct KIA engine type from the list of predefined sets.
10. Upon selection, additional entries will appear in the Extra PIDs/Sensors list.

Adding Displays

Once you've added the new sensors, you can create displays for them:

1. Go to the Realtime Information/Dashboard in Torque Pro.
2. Press the menu key and select "Add Display".
3. Choose the desired display type (Dial, Bar, Graph, Digital Display, etc.).
4. Select the appropriate sensor from the list. Sensors from Advanced LT are prefixed with "[KADV]" and are typically listed just after the time sensors at the top of the list.
